Gove Peninsula Tennis Club has taken out the prestigious award at the Tennis NT awards night as "Club of the Year" in the NT.  Back to back wins for the club.

Also taking out "Club Volunteer of the Year" for GPTC was Ray Winn.  Ray is an instrumental part of the club, running the Tuesday night fixtures and the weekly Pickleball fixtures.

Club President was so happy to take out the win, after the club had worked so hard to pull off an amazing event celebrating its 50th Birthday.  

The hard working committee is always thinking of ways to engage the community with its programs that it runs.  And then months we mean months of planning putting together a celebration that the community could come together to celebrate with the club.

The club boasts a membership base of almost 300 people in 2025.  It provides junior and adult programs from 5 years to the senior adults.  Always adapting to what the community wants.

The club is also involved in helping out at the Conquer the Corrugations Mental Health Awareness Walk, and providing a service for RIO Tinto service awards.
