Court Hire

Court Hire is conducted through the Gingin Community Resource Centre. To make a booking please call (08) 9575 1253.

Alternatively, Court 5 is open to the public all year round.

Introduction

The Gingin Tennis Club is the local Tennis club in Gingin, Western Australia. It is located at the Gingin Sporting Recreational Centre towards the southern end of town off of New St. There are 8 fully lighted multipurpose courts at the venue.

Social Tennis runs on Thursday nights from 6.30pm during the Summer, beginning at the start of School Term 4 (October) and ending the at the conclusion of the following school Term 1 (April). Non-members are welcome to participate.

Junior Tennis (Ages 7 to 12) is offerred during School Term 4 on  Monday afternoons from 5pm to 6pm. The program is offerred to new and experienced juniors, and is run by Club volunteers offering children an opportunity to be introduced to the sport. A Sub-Junior Membership is all that is required for children to participate.

Junior Tennis (Ages 13+) is offered during School Term 4 on Thursday afternoons from 5pm to 6pm. 

The club traditionally held the Gingin Doubles Open Tournament for men and ladies on the first Sunday of each December up until the last few years.

The club was an affiliate of the now defunct Moore District Tennis Association and took part in the Weekend Pennant competition that the Zone held each Summer.
