Our mission is to provide an opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the facilities available at Fyans Park.

Fyans Park Tennis Courts were originally constructed in 1979 by the then Newtown City Council and the club was established in that year.    A few years following the construction of the courts, the clubrooms were built.

In 2017 redevelopment works were undertaken to upgrade the courts to plexi pave, including installation of retaining walls and landscaping.     

The Club has been successful over the past few years in carry out maintainance to the clubrooms, purchasing new nets, dry court squeege and replacing damage net post for the courts, upgrading and landscaping the entrances to the clubrooms and courts with the assistance of grants received from the City of Greater Geelong and club members holding annual fund raisers. The Club sincerely thanks the City of Greater Geelong for this welcomed assistance.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic Summer 2019/20 and Winter 2020 competitions were abandoned.

Our senior Section 3 mens' team reached the finals in the Summer 2024/25 finals.  The club congratulates all team members for a great season of tennis. 

We welcome the participation of family groups and greatly valued the contribution made by all members towards the successful operation of our Club.
