Our mission is to provide an opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the facilities available at Fyans Park.

Fyans Park Tennis Courts were originally constructed in 1979 by the then Newtown City Council and the club was established in that year.    A few years following the construction of the courts, the clubrooms was built.

In 2017 redevelopment works were undertaken to upgrade the courts to plexi pave, including installation of retaining walls and landscaping.     

A  grant received from the City of Greater Geelong  enabled maintainance to be carried out on the clubrooms.

In August 2018 the Club applied to the City of Greater Geelong Community Investment and Support Fund for a grant to replace damaged net post, purchase tennis nets and dry court squeegee.       In November the club was advised that this application was successful.  The Club sincerely thanks the City of Greater Geelong for this welcomed assistance.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic Summer 2019/20 and Winter 2020 competitions were abandoned.

Our membership continues to remain strong with 2 senior teams and 2 junior teams participating in the summer 2022/23 competition.  

Our senior mens' and mixed teams reached the finals in the Summer 2021/22 finals..  The club congratulates all teams for a great season of tennis. 

With the assistance of a grant from the City of Geelong 2022/23 the club has had works carried out to improve the entrance to the clubrooms and the courts with the provision of replacement steps/stairs and landscaping to this area.

We welcome the participation of family groups and greatly valued the contribution made by all members towards the successful operation of our Club.
