What a busy time we’ve had these past six months of the year !!

We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news about or recent successes:

• Grant Applications:  Both our applications for funding from the Veolia Mulwaree Trust and Tennis NSW FEF were successful !  Thanks to this support, we’ve engaged an electrical contractor, and the new ARC lights will be installed in the first quarter of the year. 
• Court Surface Update: You may have noticed a few “bald” spots on the court surface where the paint has lifted.  The good news is that the Council has agreed to patch these areas at their expense in the New Year.  

We had a fabulous time in October hosting an Interclub Social Day with Moss Vale Tennis Club!

The event was a great success, with the short set format allowing everyone to enjoy plenty of tennis. Each team was made up of members from both clubs and prizes were   awarded at the end.  Afterward, we all gathered for a delicious BBQ and drinks to celebrate the day.

We’re pleased to announce that Moss Vale Tennis Club has extended a return invitation for us to play Pickle Ball, Pop Tennis and regular tennis at their courts in February - so keep an eye out and save the date !

A big thank you to Dawning Day Winery and Exeter General Store for their generous donations which are greatly appreciated.

We’ve had several successful fundraising sausage sizzles at Bunnings Mittagong, one in October and another in the first week of December.

Both events were extremely successful, raising a substantial amount of money for the club.  A huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped out on these long days, serving 480 sausages on 20 loaves of bread and cooking 8kg of onions!  We sold out on both days - what an incredible effort!

EVA Community Christmas Party

Once again the club opened up the tennis courts for the children, offering them the chance to try out the ball machine and a new set  of “Pop” Tennis equipment.  Both the full-size  and half -size courts were a hit on the day!

Open Day - Save the Date ! 

We’re excited to announce an Open Day on Saturday January 11th to welcome new members to the club.  It’s a great opportunity to introduce newcomers to the sport of tennis and encourage hem to join our social, active and vibrant community.  

Come along and bring your friends or family who might be interested in becoming part of our club.
