Fair Access Pledge: Commitment to Gender Equity within local community sport

Epping Tennis Club is committed to fostering an environment where every participant, volunteer, coach and community member can take part in sport safely, fairly and equitably, particularly women and girls. We recognise that Fair Access Policy and its implementation strengthens our club, supports participation and reflects the values we want to uphold both on and off the field.

We pledge to:

Provide equitable access to our facilities, programs, development pathways, leadership roles and resources for women, girls and other underrepresented groups within sport.

Promote safe and respectful behaviour across all levels of the club

Build an inclusive culture by supporting education, visibility and leadership opportunities.

Monitor progress through our Fair Access Action Plan (including Gender Equity Action Plan) and report to Council (through the Fair Access Sports Club Network) and club committee

Support existing and explore new opportunities to engage our local community, specifically women, girls and other underrepresented groups within sport.

Complete all the Fair Access requirements of Council within the timeframes specified.

This pledge represents our ongoing commitment to Fair Access and Gender Equity within our sporting club.
