Club Rules

COURT USAGE

Courts should be booked online prior to play. 

Once the booking period has ended then the court must be reliquished if there is a following booking. Otherwise play may continue until the next booking,if desired.

 FOOTWEAR & CLOTHING

Proper tennis shoes must be worn for safety and to protect the court surface; no running shoes, barefeet or thongs. 

Players must wear shirts. No singlets, jeans or bathers allowed.

 COURT ETIQUETTE

Please be courteous and friendly to other players.

  • Avoid unsporting behaviour such as racquet or ball abuse
  • Avoid undue noise or language that may offend
  • Return balls that bounce onto your court
  • Do not go onto another court while play is in progress
  • Use the correct gate to avoid walking across other courts 

 FIRST AID & EMERGENCIES

There is a First Aid kit and an ice pack in the clubhouse and Ladies bathroom.

A Defibrillator is located on the wall outside the Mens bathroom.

SECURITY & CLUBHOUSE USE

Clubhouse keys are only issued to Committee members, the Coach and team Captains.

While a member issued with a Master key is present, other members are entitled to ask that the clubhouse be opened.

The bathrooms are to be left unlocked with the doors shut.

 If you are the last to leave, you must secure the clubhouse (if open) and make sure the entrance gate is closed.

VISITORS

Members may bring Visitors to play at the club. Members need to pay by EFT (BSB:633000 Account:109892109).

Visitor Fees are $5 for an Adult and $2 for a Student Under 23.

Unauthorised Visitors are not permitted on the courts.

Visitors must abide by the rules of the club. Anyone behaving inappropriately will not be readmitted. Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests.

Any Member is entitled to ask the name of another Member or Visitor.

Members are encouraged to bring Visitors only during less busy times.

Members have priority over Visitors.

 ENFORCEMENT OF RULES

All members are entitled to help enforce the rules but please do so discreetly and in a way which avoids giving offence.

In the event of a dispute a member of the Committee should be contacted as soon as possible.  Names and phone numbers are on this website
