Competition

The Diamond Creek Tennis Club participates in a number of tennis competitions in the area for both juniors and seniors. Competition is available to suit most standards of play from beginner to advanced. New players are always welcome to form or join a team.

Adult Competition

Senior tennis is open to men and women of all ages and playing ability. We currently have adult teams in the following competitions:

  • Monday Night Mixed (DVTA)
  • Tuesday Night Men's (DVTA)
  • Tuesday Night Men's (NENTG)
  • Tuesday Day Comp - Ladies (Heidelberg and District)
  • Wednesday Night Ladies (DVTA)
  • Thursday Day Comp - Ladies (DVTA)
  • Thursday Night Mixed (NENTG)
  • Thursday Night Men's (DVTA)

The Diamond Valley Tennis Association, North Eastern Night Tennis Group and Heidelberg & District Tennis Association offers doubles competition for adults.  They cater for a range of playing standards in Men’s, Ladies and Mixed competition from Monday to Thursdays.   DVTA and HDTA also offer daytime competition for Ladies. 
Night competition commences at 7.30pm.  Mid-week ladies commences from 9.30am.

Junior Competition

Junior tennis is available to boys and girls of all ages and standards. Competition is available through the following tennis associations:

  • Friday night singles (DVTA)
  • Saturday singles / doubles (NEJTA)

The Diamond Valley Tennis Association (DVTA) is the local competition for juniors aged from around 10 years through to 18 and covers a range of different standards and abilities. 
Friday night commences from 6pm and is a singles competition. Saturday morning commences at 8.45am and is a doubles competition.

Competition is also available through the North Eastern Junior Tennis Association (NEJTA). Competition runs on a Saturday morning generally commencing from 8am and depending on the age of the junior, can be either a doubles competition or a combination of singles and doubles.
