Our History

Sometime around 1929 permission was granted to build a tennis court in Cowaramup.
Eventually sufficient material was procured and the court was laid (in it's present day location). The court needed sufficient watering and rolling, especially before the weekends. This type of court was used greatly in the country areas of Australia.
The court and club were a very popular addition to the social and sporting life of the young people.
In the late 30's, Cowaramup had a strong club with a very strong men's pennant team, and also a very good ladies team.

During 2009, we upgraded our Club House to be the version you see today, and at the beginning of 2016 the courts were resurfaced.
