Introduction
Cooroy Tennis Club lies adjacent to the main sporting complex situated on Mary River Road Cooroy, alongside picturesque Cooroy Creek, and only a short walk to the Cooroy township.
The club presents a heritage appeal that is consistent throughout Cooroy and also embodies Cooroy’s welcoming atmosphere.
The club’s complex consists of four hardcourts with lights for both day & night play.
Cooroy Tennis Club has a strong junior & senior membership base with excellent coaching & competition (click the Membership tab for information on how to join the club at anytime).
Visitors are always welcome and social tennis is played each Tuesday and Thursday morning commencing
7:00am (Summer) and 7:30am (Winter). Social tennis is also scheduled from 5:00pm on Sundays. Come and join us.
Financial members can play at no extra cost during daylight hours, providing a court is available. Casual court hire for non-members is also available (click the Booking tab).

Great News for Cooroy Tennis Club
The Federal Government has agreed to fund the construction of a new amenities facility at the club, under the "PLay Our Way" program. The aim of "Play Our Way" was to encourage increased participation of women and girls in sport, and aligns with current initiatives at the club.
The grant of $211000.00 will assist in providing a free-standing building adjacent to the existing clubhouse.
The new facility will include separate female/male/disability toilets. A shower will be incorporated into the female toilet space. A multi-purpose room will be utilised by the coach in ongoing development of the junior coaching program. The new block will be wheel-chair accessible. We hope construction will commence in January 2026.

Committee Members for 2026
Many thanks to the existing committee for continuing their roles for 2026.
We also welcome Rohan Gearing and Mandy Blackmore to the committee for 2026. Our 2 new committee personnel will make better connection with our growing junior membership base, and the many parents who wish to support the club through their involvement in the junior coaching program.
Bendigo Bank Support
In early February, we plan to hold a Club Open Day to introduce the club to new interested players, both junior and adult. In addition, players who participated in fixure tennis (2025) will also be recognised.
