Thank you for visiting our very first website. Its a simple website where you can read about what we have to offer, become a member, make a booking or contact us with any queries. In the future it is also a place where you will be notified about upcoming events.

Did you know Colo Vale tennis courts have been around for more than 40 years. It was once a thriving hub with 4 ladies competition teams, social night tennis, school groups, coaching and general hire. Over the years situations change and pressures of society bring more changes. Nevertheless the courts are here for community use and tennis is a great outdoor sport. In 2019 our courts were in disrepair and the local council assisted us in revamping them.

Where are the Courts?

Our courts are situated at Jurd Park on Arcacia Street in Colo Vale, just before the local public school.

Plenty of parking just look for the blue street sign.

What do we offer?

- 2 courts in a quiet setting with lots of open space.

- Sheltered Free BBQ's

- Toilet facilities (with Defibrillator access)

- Children's playground alongside the courts

- Rackets and balls included

- A small club shed with tables, chairs, umbrella, fridge, kitchenette with plenty of cups etc for tea and coffee making.

Come and Play

We encourage you to come and make use of these lovely facilities. Tennis is a great outdoor sport and by visiting the courts regularly that's your exercise done.

Run the kids ragged. You can hire and make it an active picnic/tennis day. Very affordable.

A way of catching up with family and friends. A perfect venue for the next birthday party.

Who maintains them

The courts are rented from council and is run by a handful of volunteers that strive to keep the courts and surrounding areas clean, comfortable and in good order for the benefit of the community.

Please continue playing on a regular basis and spread the word to make others aware of these facilities.
