Since the installation of new courts in 2021 our club membership has risen, with half of those being juniors. The club organises twice weekly social tennis and 4 group coaching sessions on Sundays. Our courts are open to the public and no payment is required for social tennis. Constant use of our courts by both members and the general community has been wonderful ... but needing more than the usual annual maintenance visit to keep them in good playing condition and to extend the lifespan of the artificial grass. The professional company, GrasSports, which provides annual maintenance has delivered extra specialised sand for the courts to remain safe and in good playing condition and to ensure they last much longer before eventually needing replacement. The current CC tennis committee has received support from Gippsland Community Foundation to ensure that the courts are kept in best possible condition so that they can be used by the community well into the future.
