Our tennis club has been very busy over winter. We even have a few extra articles in this newsletter. Check out the comments from our Sunday coaching participants and the saga of the mysterious holes in our courts. Also a notice about our Clifton Creek Open on SaturdayNovember 30th.

A brief update this time with a reminder of our regular activities:

● Saturday Social tennis: Usually at 3.30pm. Confirmed through the “Anyone for tennis? CC” What’s App.

● District Ladies tennis: Thursday mornings at 9.30am.

● Sunday coaching: from 11am to 1pm. Free for club members but newcomers are welcome to try before joining. East Gippsland Community Foundation continues to support this.

• 1st Sunday Social tennis: 9.30 start. Morning tea is provided.

One off upcoming events:

• AGM to be held at noon on Sunday 8th September. Lunch provided.

● Inter-club tennis at Sale Tennis Club - Sunday 15th September 10am - 2pm.

Friendly match competition for adults and juniors from Lakes Entrance, Clifton Creek, Bairnsdale and Sale. Lunch is provided. There will be no usual coaching on this day.
