A brand new playing surface on courts 1 & 2 has been achieved through recent grants and donations. Refurbished court surfaces are now ready for action

Welcome to our club

Hard work from our members to dismantle and recycle the old artifical grass surfaces of courts 1 & 2 was all done by the end of 2020 which was a year many of us will remember clearly for the impacts of widespread bushfires and covid pandemic restrictions.

We are excited to have our new surfaces all complete. We invite players of all ages and abilities to come and have a hit, a laugh and a breath of fresh air in our idyllic rural setting, only 20 minutes on sealed road from Bairnsdale in East Gippsland.

Join us for our First Sunday social sessions from 10am every month which include a shared morning tea of renowned country hospitality at the conclusion of play.   Coaching sessions started in 2021 and for  more than  18 months coaching was free to all participants thanks to a grant from Vinnies.  In 2023 we are able to offer the coaching free of charge to all members, a very afffordable activity for the whole family.

In 2025, coaching will resume on February 9th and continue each Sunday during school term from 11am when adults of all skill levels enjoy tuition, cardio and fun for an hour with professional coach Mike Spruzen, and then it's the little tackers intro to tennis for 15 minutes from noon to 12.15. Big kids follow for three quarters of an hour  (over 8yrs) and then 5-8yrs from 1 till 1.30pm.  Our coaching program with Mike is enabled through the generous support of Gippsland Community Foundation, with weekly fruit snacks and a light lunch once per term offered to participants.

At the moment you can book a court online for NO COST and do your own thing.  We encourage everyone to use the online booking simply so we can avoid doubling up on times when people would like to play  Making an online booking COSTS nothing but ensures our club has a record of usage which will be handy for keeping track of usage and for future funding applications.

Our small rural club endures as a viable supportive group and continues in its role of looking after the interests of its members as well as inclusively embracing the community in the recreational use of its facilities.
