About us
Cleveland Tennis Club is one of the oldest tennis clubs in Townsville, with a history datingback to the late 1800s. It is the only club with synthetic grass courts which is favoured by most of the seniors' clubs in Australia. We promote seniors tennis and many of our members compete regularly in the Australian Masters Games program. We welcome members of all ages, although we do not provide any programs for junior tennis, offer any coaching or participate in local competions.
Our organised program focusses on social tennis which is organised three times per week with Monday afternoon a mens session and Thursday and Saturday afternoons mixed social.
