Dear member,

With the easing of COVID-19 restrictions we are gradually returning to normal life at our tennis club and trust that you are starting to enjoy our facilities again.

The great news is that we can now play doubles but we must still be vigilant in complying with the social distancing, registration and sanitising rules.

We would like to thank everyone for their patience and cooperation during these very trying times.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Date: Tuesday, 1st December @7pm

Venue : Tennis Court Clubhouse

As there will still be some restrictions on group gatherings it is essential that if you intend to attend the meeting you advise us in advance in order that we can observe the rules in regard to the maximum number of attendees.

Alternatively if you have any questions or matters that you would like to bring to our attention please contact me on the above number.

We also encourage anyone who is keen to contribute to join our committee.

NEW LIGHTS

We are in the process of replacing our court lights with new LED lights and we are also installing solar panels which will result in more efficient energy use. These improvements are being financed by a Federal Government grant.

While these works are continuing we will not be able to use the courts after dark but we will announce when the lights are operating again.

BOOK A COURT

The new court booking system is now fully operational and we have been pleased to see many members using the system. It’s easy to use but if you have any problems please contact us and we will be very happy to assist you.

At this stage we are restricting court usage to members and their guests but once COVID-19 restrictions ease we will be opening the courts to casual bookings. Nonmembers will have to pay a fee to book a court.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS

A big THANK YOU to all the members who have renewed during these disrupted times and we remind those who haven’t renewed that your discounted annual fees are now overdue.
