Junior Development Series

The Junior Development Series (JDS) features tournaments that spread across the South Region giving young beginner and intermediate players an opportunity and a platform to compete in an environment that focuses on developing skills on court and an overall positive attitude.

Throughout the year players will compete for trophies, prizes, and ranking points in 8 different venues and ultimately four players in each age division (two boys and two girls) will be selected to represent the South Region at the JDS State Finals in Rockhampton. The top two male and female players of each division will be considered for a place in the JDS State Finals Team. Final selection of all South Region teams will be at the discretion of the Regional Assembly Executive Committee.
