Who we are.
Caulfield Recreation Tennis Club is located in the picturesqe Malanbool Reserve in Murrumbeena and forms a part of the sporting precinct around the Duncan McKinnon Reserve. The club has operated in the Caulfield and Murrumbeena areas since 1914 having started on a site near Caulfield Rececourse before relocating to a corner of what was the Murrumbeena High School. The school has since closed with the land now managed by Glen Eira council. The club operates as a community tennis club with volunteer committee and maintenance. The club operates under a lease with Glen Eira council.
The club has a significant competition history having been a major player in pennant competition. As competition has generally lost favour, the club supports more social membership but is targetting an in competition particpation
