Candelo Tennis Club Serves Up Major Upgrades and a New Era of Access

The historic Candelo Tennis Club is entering an exciting new chapter with significant venue upgrades and a complete overhaul of its court access and booking system, supported by Tennis NSW.

Temporary Court Closure for Tech Integration. To facilitate these modern improvements, the courts are closed for the next seven days. The club is working to finalise the installation of an innovative online court booking system and automated gate access. This digital transformation is set to provide a seamless experience for all players. Court bookings will resume in seven days and can be made online via the club's website or by scanning a QR code located at the main court gate and the local service station.

New Sponsorship and Membership Drive Local businesses are invited to partner with the club, as it actively seeks new sponsors to support ongoing improvements. The fences are already sporting new banners, showcasing the support of early adopters.

The club is also encouraging the community to join, with affordable 12-month membership packages now available on the club's website for both singles and families, offering year-round court access.

Get on Court: Social and Competition Tennis Once the courts reopen, players can enjoy the following regular tennis activities:

• Social Tennis for all skill levels runs every Monday morning. Play starts at the social time of 7:30 am in the warmer months and 8:00 am in the winter, weather permitting. All are welcome to attend.
• The ever-popular Summer Competition on Tuesday nights is well underway, currently in its sixth week, with the season expected to conclude between early to mid-December.

For players who need gear, tennis racquets and balls are available for rent from the local service station. These key upgrades cement the Candelo Tennis Club's commitment to being a welcoming and accessible hub for the entire community.
