At the Cairns International Tennis Centre (CITC) we have an extensive coaching programmes for both adults and juniors from complete beginner to advance players all led by Coaching Excellence Award Winning operators , 'Baseline Tennis Coaching Academy'.

Our awesome academy is led by Wayne Fielder and his team. Wayne has over 25 years of extensive experience and has an unrivalled passion for the sport that ensures that all clients learn to love the game just the way he does. On top of Wayne being our 'Head Coach' at the CITC, he also undertakes other roles including:

• Tennis Australia (TA) 'Industry Leader'
• TA Cardio Tennis Ambassador
• TA Coach Developer
• TA Tournament Director

Wayne is a big believer in supporting and recruiting locals. Wayne has trained up many coaches who have made a career from teaching the sport and who have been guided through Wayne's apprenticeship programme. He strongly believes in a mentorship style system that stems right down to new players that join CITC and the coaching structure. Wayne has very strong morals and believes in 3 'Core Values' that come off the back of the nationally acclaimed programme called 'The Resilience Project' where ther 3 fundimental focuses are:

• Mindfullness
