Junior
8-10 years
Toptenn Orange Ball (8-10yrs) are 60 minutes sessions that involve 30 minutes of strategy training and then 30 mins of singles and doubles competition every week. Players get the opportunity to put their tactical training into practice immediately and increase their competition experience in a fun and friendly environment and under the guidance of a Toptenn Coach. Results are recorded and displayed on the 'Toptenn Tour': a page on our Team App which collates the results from all venues.
- Toptenn Squads are $300 for 10 weeks (or $225 when booked into another Toptenn lesson as well)
- You do not need to be a BTC member to participate in Squad
Junior (Home and Away)
8+ years
Register for Burwood's Saturday or Sunday morning Club Competition and play with your team each week in a home and away season. Weekend competition is run through the Waverley District Tennis Association and fixtures and leagues are mapped as close as possible to the local geographic area. - Huge range of formats available including boys, girls, mixed and open. Play in a team of 2, 3 or 4! See Info
- Competition from D grade all the way through to A Grade
- 2 season of Waverley District competition each year, including Summer (Term 4 to Term 1) and Winter (Term 2 to Term 3)
- Competition starts at 8:15am on Saturdays, 8:30am on Sundays
- Competition generally runs between 1.5 to 2.5 hours
- Available to all BTC Junior Members – Become a member
- There is a $45 ball cost per season for each player
Ladies Night Competition (Home and Away)
Monday night tennis is an inter club Ladies competition within the Blackburn & District Night Tennis Association. In this Competition you play with your team each week in a home and away season. This competition is run through the Blackburn District Night Tennis Association and fixtures and leagues are mapped as close as possible to the local geographic area.

- 4 players are required each week
- Each player will play 3 x 6 game sets of doubles
- 2 season of Competition each year, including Autumn (Term 1 to Term 2) and Spring (Term 3 to Term 4)
- Competition starts at 7:00pm on Monday Evenings
- Competition generally runs between 2 to 2.5 hours
- Available to all Female Members – Become a member
- There is a $8 night cost per week for each player

Tuesday morning mid-week ladies’ tennis (Home and Away)
Tuesday morning mid-week ladies’ teams play in MEMRLTA competition.
Tuesday morning Ladies tennis is an inter club Ladies competition within MEMRLTA. In this Competition you play with your team each week in a home and away season. This competition is run through MEMRLTA and fixtures and leagues are mapped as close as possible to the local geographic area.
- 4 players are required each week
- Each player will play 3 x 8 game pro sets of doubles
- 2 season of Competition each year, including Winter (March to August) and Summer (September to March)
- Competition starts at 9:30am on Tuesday Mornings
- Competition generally runs between 2 to 3.5 hours
- Available to all Female Members – Become a member
- There is a $35 team fee cost for each player

Tuesday Night Intra-Club Mens Doubles
Tuesday nights at Burwood seperate the men from the boys! Teams participate in weekly Round Robin fixtures for glory and club bragging rights. Competition is always followed by drinks and nibbles in the clubhouse.
- Tuesdays 7:30pm to 9:30pm (followed by drinks and nibbles)
- Available to all BTC Senior Members – Become a member
- There is also a $10 weekly cost for court lighting, balls and nibbles

Saturday Pennant (Home & Away)
Burwood is an official venue for Tennis Victoria's premier competition Winter Ladies and Winter Mens Pennant. Pennant involves Home & Away travel between clubs. The venues put in your team's section depend on what clubs register for the same section. For more details contact: tim@toptenn.com.au
- Takes place between April and September each year
- Saturdays 9:00am (Ladies)
- Saturdays 1:00pm (Mens)
- Teams from Grade 4 to Grade 11
- Available to all BTC Junior & Senior Members – Become a member
- There is a $70 ball cost per season for each player
Format
- Singles and doubles matches each week
- Singles Rubber(best of 2, 10 point T/B for set 3)
- Doubles (8 game pro set)
- You will play each team in your section generally twice.
- Finals consist of 1 doubles and 1 singles rubber for each player

Burwood's Saturday afternoon adult competition with Waverley District Tennis runs all year round and has a grade/format suitable for everyone. Waverley District Competition involves home and away travel. Clubs are matched geographically and according to which clubs enter teams with matching grades/formats.
