The Bundaberg Tennis Association was formed in 1930 but the club didn't acquire any courts until the council built 4 courts at Rotary Park in 1938. In 1953 the club expanded to Drinan Park where the Tantitha Tennis Club sold them 6 courts and a clubhouse for a very cheap rate. The club was firing on all cylinders boasting a massive 630 members.
Over the years Tennis Bundaberg has seen significant upgrades to the facilites including 10 courts that are fully lit. With the addition of 5 pickleball courts in 2022, the club has more plans to expand facilities into the future and improve playing experiences.
Today the club hold various events from fixtures and coaching right through to National level Tournaments.
The future is bright in Bundaberg and their has never been a better time to dust off the racket or paddle and grab your shoes and get involved with Tennis Bundaberg.
