Bulahdelah Tennis Club

All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions as follows:

Risk warning: You acknowledge that by using the tennis courts and playing tennis you will be exposed to certain risks, including the risk of physical injury. You may also be exposed to the possibility of contracting an illness, including without limitation the COVID-19 virus. The COVID-19 virus can spread very quickly and result in very serious medical complications in some people. You agree that the use of the tennis courts is entirely at your own risk.  You have read and understood this risk warning and voluntarily accept and assume the inherent risks in use of the tennis courts and playing tennis.

Cleanliness and club rules
•    No eating on the Courts, and please use bins provided (all off Court) for the disposal of rubbish.
•    Please leave the Courts and Clubhouse areas clean and tidy for the next players to use and enjoy.
•    Bulahdelah Tennis Club is strictly a non-smoking facility.
•    Pets, skateboards, bikes, scooters are not permitted on the courts or clubhouse area.
•    Pets are permitted on the grassy area outside of the courts (in the carpark) only and must be on a leash and they must be securely tethered whilst unattended.

•    Coaching (except for approved nominated coach) or the collection of monies through use of the courts is not permitted. Membership or court hiring rights will be terminated immediately if in breach.

Surveillance
The Bulahdelah Tennis Club reserves the right to use electronic surveillance equipment to monitor and protect our club, members and guests. These would monitor gate entry points, tennis and pickleball courts, main clubhouse room and the pergola.

Respecting our neighbours
There are residential dwellings and campers nearby. We respect the amenity of our nearby residents and campers and we ask the same of our players. Any inappropriate behaviour reported to Bulahdelah Tennis Club will lead to forfeiture of the use of the Court(s) and possible membership cancellation.

Coaching
Coaching at the Courts is provided solely by Greg Billingham. Greg is a level 2 coach and you can contact Greg on 0414 552 966. Greg is not employed by Bulahdelah Tennis Club and his coaching is independent from Bulahdelah Tennis Club.

Members
•    Memberships entitlements are not transferable
•    Members hiring the courts are required to be present and must be playing.
•    The penalty for a member found guilty of transfering his or her membership entitlements to another person will result in an expulsion from the club.

Suspended Members
•    A member, whilst under suspension, shall have no entitlement to use any facilities at the Club or to enter the Club’s premises.
•    A member, whilst under suspension, shall not be on the Club’s premises as a guest of another member.

Expelled Members
A person who has been expelled as a member of the Club shall not be on the Club’s premises as a guest of any member.

Supervision
Children under the age of 18 must always be supervised by an adult at all times.

Payment
•    All bookings are to be paid online
•    Credit card payments are processed by global payments company Stripe. Bulahdelah Tennis Club does not access or store your credit card details. All information on the Stripe platform is encrypted. Your use of the Stripe platform is subject to the Stripe terms and conditions of use and its privacy policy.
•    If you wish to extend your booking, please do so online. Additional time after your booking is not free and must be paid for.

Cancellations and refunds
•    You will receive an automatic refund if you cancel your booking in the online booking system at least one hour before your start time. Please give as much notice as possible so another player is able to book that time.
•    You will not receive a refund if you cancel within one hour of your start time or if you do not turn up for your booking.

Inclement weather and refunds
•    If it is raining or the weather is not conducive to playing tennis, please cancel your booking. Do not assume that it’s automatically cancelled. 
•    Our courts are synthetic grass, so light rain does not usually affect play. However, if you do not wish to play in light rain, please cancel your booking.
•    To receive an automatic refund, you need to cancel in the online booking system at least one hour before your scheduled booking time.
•    If you cancel due to inclement weather within one hour of your booking time, notify us at btctreasurer66@gmail.com with your name, date and time of the booking, and specify that you are cancelling due to inclement weather. We will organise a refund.
•    If you stop playing part-way through your booking due to inclement weather, notify us at btctreasurer66@gmail.com with your name, date, time of the booking, and what time the weather stopped play. We will refund you the portion of time you were unable to play.

Note that refunds will not include the transaction fee we are charged by the online payment platform.
