The Bonny Hills Tennis Club offers a range of private coaching and lesson options.

All sessions are conducted by qualified Tennis Coaches (Australian Tennis Professional Coaches Association) who also hold Working with Children checks.

All prices listed below are for club members. Please enquire about prices for non-members.

Private Coaching Sessions

These sessions are tailored in every instance to your requirements and objectives.

From absolute beginners wanting to learn to play to “return to the sport” older adults to competent players who want to learn court movement and to become more consistent – we don’t apply a cookie cutter lesson approach but work with you to ensure that you improve quickly and really enjoy your session.

Cost $1 per minute:

30 minute lesson - $30

45 minute lesson - $45

Junior Coaching Program

Our Junior coaching program includes kids from age 4 and upwards and caters for those who have never picked up a racquet through to good standard Club players. 

Our philosophy is “fun first” so our primary objective is to teach players how to play tennis not just produce nice looking strokes. The ability to move around a court and hold a rally enables the full experience of tennis and is the most fun! Standing in a line waiting your turn to hit a ball is not so much fun. 

Our groups are based on ability not necessarily age. In this way we provide a pathway for on-going development and allow players to progress in a natural and comfortable way. Our development pathway is based on the Tennis Australia Hot Shots model.

All sessions include movement skills as well as racquet skills, game and point play and even some fitness work. 

Wherever possible, there are no more than 4 players per coach to allow for maximum progress and to cater for individual needs. 

Many of our sessions make use of a ball machine which the kids love and allows our coaches to provide real time on-the-spot feedback and instruction. 

Cost is $15.00 per child per week and we run the full School term. We often celebrate the end of every term with a free & fun competition for all the students.

We are an Active Kids program provider.
