Bayview Tennis Club Annual Christmas Party and Prize Giving Saturday December 7
Christmas is coming....lock in Saturday December 7 for the BTC Annual Christmas Party and prize giving dinner to be held at the club house from 7:00 pm. Apart from it always being a great night to celebrate the last 12 months it's a chance to catch up with old and make new tennis friends. Please add your name to the club house Notice Board.

Special Events Finals Day Sunday November 10
The finals order of play:
10:00 am Men's Doubles: Ray Lovell and Garry Matthew-Stubbs verses Jin Choi and Trevor Remington
11:30 am Mixed Doubles: Val Mitchell and Garry Matthew-Stubbs verses Maureen Kane and James Etherington
12:00 pm Ladies Doubles: Rhonda Purvis and Maru Stalquist verses Liz Cullen and Kim Popplewell
Please come and support the finalists and enjoy a sausage sizzle lunch.
Results from the Ladies and Mens Special Events Round Robin Nov 3rd.
Please see below the order of play for the Special Events Sunday Nov 3rd. Play to commence at 1:00 pm.
The format is round robin where each pair play the other 3 teams. Each match will be for 8 games with 2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw. There will be a count back for number of games won in the case of level points. The top two teams will play off on the finals day Sunday November 10th.

October 2024
There will be a funeral service for Rob on Tuesday October 29th at 10:00 am at the Pittwater Uniting Church Jubilee Ave Warriewood, with a wake to follow at the Pittwater RSL Club.
The Specials Events have been scheduled to commence October 27, please get your entries on the club house notice board. This is a fun event, I urge all members to join in, players are ranked from the stongest down with the highest ranked player paired with the lowest ranked player and so on. This makes for an even contest, anyone can win, so come and enjoy some tennis.
The Mixed Doubles Special Event was held at 9:00 am October 27th with 6 pairs.

July 28 Careel Bay - BTC Annual Challenge
Unfortunately Bayview have not been able to field a team for the annual Careel Bay - BTC challenge this year and we have had to pull out. This is such a great fun event and allows players from both clubs to enjoy the tennis and the social occasion. The calendar will be published early next year, and I would urge you to check and lock in the planned events for 2025, please make the most of your membership. Please also note the final event for 2024 will be the Christmas Party in December, don't miss out!

Results June 2nd, Finals Day.
What a great day of tennis, some 24 members cheering on the play and enjoying a barbq lunch. All matches were very competitive with some real nail biters.
