Barton Tennis Club

The Club provides social tennis on most mornings from 9am to 11am and Wednesday evenings 7.30pm to 10pm.

Members and non members are welcome to social tennis. Just turn up, no need to notify beforehand. At social tennis, a set consists of 8 games of doubles, so each player serves twice. At the end of each set, partners change and play against different players.

Cost of social tennis costs $3 for members as a contribution to the cost of balls and refreshments. Non members pay a flat fee of $6 for each game as well as the particular group’s contribution to balls and refreshments. The cost for members and non members on Wednesday evenings includes a contribution to the cost of lights.

For many years the club conducted social tennis on Sunday afternoons. The Club would be very pleased to make contact with players who could form a focal group to get the Sunday social tennis going again.
