Following the Christmas Party, the club held our very own AO 1 Point Slam, which added plenty of energy and excitement to the afternoon. The fast-paced format provided great entertainment for both players and spectators alike.

The final saw Head Coach Trent Cobb take on Saturday senior player Alexander Granzow in a highly entertaining match. Trent proved too strong on the day and went on to represent the club at the State Championships shortly after. Unfortunately, Trent was unable to progress further in the tournament, but he represented Ashburton Tennis Club with pride.

The success of the format highlighted how enjoyable and inclusive these social events can be, and we look forward to running more opportunities like this for members in the year ahead.
