Etiquette and conditions of play – Alstonville Village courts

When you enter the site using your booking code, close the entrance gate behind you. The entrance gate should remain locked while you are playing on the courts. Do not admit any persons other than the people who are part of your booked group.  Any persons asking for admission, claiming to have a booking, should be asked to call the club secretary on 0406 681 118 to verify the booking or to get help with their booking code.

Playing music at the Alstonville Pickleball and Tennis Courts:

Club members are asked not to play/broadcast music while at the Alstonville courts. Whereas this might be a practice at other club venues, some of which may be in industrial or commercial areas, the Alstonville site is close to residential properties. The club committee asks that members be considerate of our neighbours by not creating noise in addition to that created by active pickleball play.

Unauthorised tightening of the pickleball nets:

Damage has occurred to one of the pickleball nets that appears to have been caused by over tightening of the net. The correct height for nets is - middle 86 cm (34”) and at edge of court 91 cm (36”). Please do not adjust the net height

Should you feel that a net height needs adjustment, please contact a committee member or sms the club secretary on 0406 681 118 and a check of the net on the nominated court will be made as soon as possible.
