Monday Evening Pickleball Competition

Naomi Doncaster, will be organising an enjoyable pickleball competitive session starting on Monday nights (warm up from 6:00 pm, then 6:30 – 8:15 pm) from the end of July. 

Cost will be $7 (for members of ATC) or $12 for non-members.

Some initial ideas for the competition format are:

• All play will be doubles.
• Teams of 4 players will be formed with advice from Naomi. (They may be mixed ages & skills. Gender is irrelevant.

• Over the 2 hours of play the games would be players 1&2, then 3&4, then 1&3  etc.
• Depending on interest we might have multiple divisions.
• Prizes for the winning teams!

Open Social Pickleball Group - Friday Morning

An open, social pickleball group has started on Friday mornings from 8 to 10am at the Alstonville village pickleball courts.  Experienced players & learners are welcome.  ATC members @ $5 per session;  non-members @ $10.

Wednesday Evening Pickleball Competition - Intermediate players

With the appointment of the new tennis/pickleball coach Olivia, Wednesday night will become an INTERMEDIATE level competition, run by Olivia. The competition will be suitable for players with an INTERMEDIATE level of skill and who had previously competed in Pool B of the Thursday night comp/and or have tournament experience competing at a 2.5 - 2.99 level. The first night of competition will be Wednesday 16th October. Warm-up/collection of fees will be from 6pm onwards. The round robin will begin promptly at 6:30pm. The cost will be $7 for ATC members and $12 for non-members.

Players will register individually for the Wednesday Intermediate Level or Thursday Advanced level competition (no need to have a partner). Thursday Evening Pickleball Competition - Advanced players

The Thursday night competition will become an ADVANCED level competition and will be run by Aiden and Rachel. The competition will be suitable for players with an ADVANCED level of skill and had previously competed in Pool A of the Thursday night comp/and or have tournament experience competing at a 3.5 - 3.99+ level. The first night of competition will be Thursday 17th October. Warm-up/collection of fees will be from 6pm onwards. The round robin will begin promptly at 6:30pm. The cost will be $7 for ATC members and $12 for non-members.

Players will register individually for the Wednesday Intermediate Level or Thursday Advanced level competition ( (no need to have a partner). Tuesday Evening Social Pickleball

Social doubles, not competition, on Tuesday evenings, 6:00 to 8:00 pm. No need to organise a partner. Doubles groups can be organised on the night. All skill levels welcome,
