At WCTC there is more to tennis than TENNIS

In the 1990’s social tennis players, Julie Yeoman, who is now in Mildura, and I exchanged books so started the BOX. All members were invited to borrow and contribute on a trust system so it flourished with many genre. As suggested by a male member excess books were donated to Canberra Hospital Womens Auxillary and appreciated.

As the idea had outgrown the BOX the new committee provided and installed a permanent fixture which is much appreciated.

As well as the library, at social tennis mornings we enjoy morning tea, a chat and have gardeners who generously share their skills and excess produce.
