Canberra Tennis League

Join the Canberra Tennis League (CTL) - a team-based competition for juniors and adults of all levels, hosted across clubs in Canberra.

The club is always keen to encourage members to play in the inter-club pennant competitions organised by Tennis ACT.  There are grades to cater for all standards. Adult League – The Walking Clinic Canberra Tennis League          

Turner fields adult teams each season across:               

- Monday & Tuesday nights                            

- Thursday night

- Saturday afternoon                                 

These competitions are unisex and suitable for all playing standards — whether you're competitive or just playing for fun.

Summer pennant runs in January/February. Autumn pennants nominations are due in mid February. The Autumn pennants are conducted from February to May.  Winter pennants are usually from May to July and Spring pennants from August to November.

FAQs – Canberra Tennis League

 

I’m new. What division should I join?
We cater to all standards. The League Coordinator will help you find the right team.

Can I play part-time or as a reserve?
Absolutely. We welcome reserves across all levels.

Can I join mid-season?
Yes! You’ll be added to the reserve list and placed when possible.

Can I play with friends of different levels?
Yes, we’ll try to group you. It may take a season or two to get the best match.

Do I need to be a club member?
Yes. Tennis ACT requires all players to be members of an affiliated club.

 

Competition Fees

Players pay a fee each season (approx. 10 weeks), which covers team registration, court hire, and match balls

Fees and team selection info are shared via the Club Newsletter before each season. Payment is made directly to the Club once selected.
