The tennis club currently has approximately 200 members and caters the needs of both social and competition players. Non-members are also welcome to the club. Competitions available to members include Pennant, Juniors and Seniors. We have 6 synthetic grass courts, a clubroom with Bath/Shower, Kitchen facilities as well as an undercover BBQ area, used for social and tennis events.The tennis courts are open for social play on Monday nights from 7pm and on Tuesday mornings for members over 45 years. The 20th. March 2000 represents a significant day in the history of the tennis club as it is the 25th. anniversary of the incorporation of the club. From very humble beginnings in Spring Street sharing clubrooms with the cricket and football clubs we are now at our current home with modem clubrooms, floodlit courts and ample grounds. A lot of water has passed under the bridge during this time and a lot of hard work from a lot of dedicated and enthusiastic members has been the reason we enjoy the comfortable surrounds we now do. It is an appropriate time to look back and remember some of the events of previous years that brought us to this point.

Sunday 20th March 2005 was the day to celebrate the TTC’s 30th birthday and the official opening of their newly laid courts. Back in 1975, the club was started and was located in Spring Street. The clubrooms were shared with the Tullamarine Sporting Club. The first president was L. Dineen. The club relocated in the 1980’s to Catherine Ave. The two people who were instrumental in the relocation, Roy Hollis and Stan Wright were honoured at the anniversary by having the clubrooms named in their honour. Roy was President between 1980 and 1981, and then 1983 – 1989. Stan was Treasurer in 1981 and 1988. Both worked tirelessly for the benefit of the club. The club rooms were extended in the early 1990’s under the watchful eye of the club President Graeme Way, who also had a stint as Treasurer in 1984 and 1985.
