What is Tennis Hot Shots?

Tennis Hot Shots is tennis for kids! It’s a program designed to help every child, no matter their age or ability, jump in and start playing tennis. Tennis Hot Shots is played on smaller courts with modified equipment, including lighter racquets, lower nets and low compression balls that don’t bounce too high. With four fun stages (Launchpad, Red Court, Orange Court and Social Teens), qualified Tennis Australia coaches will help guide your kid/teen every step of the way.

Tennis Hot Shots is not only lots of fun, it’s also a great way to encourage your kids to maintain an active lifestyle. Apart from developing skills like agility, flexibility and speed, the program will also help your kids learn important social skills, helping them to make lots of friends along the way.

Term 2 2026 Details:

Term 2 Hotshot programs commence on Monday the 13th of April (week 1 of school) and finishes on Saturday the 20th of June (10 week program). There are 3 public holidays that will affect programs during Term 2, being May Day, Anzac Day & Kings Bday. Please note, if you book for Friday, this will be an 8 week program because of our Entry Level & Coloured Ball Tournament which we run once a term & the Katherine Open which my staff will be travelling to on the Friday. The date for the Friday session missed will be the 12th of June.

Monday Public Holidays (7 Week Program):

• 27th April (Anzac Day)
• 4th May (May Day)
• 4th June (Kings Bday)

Friday Events (8 Week Program):

• 1st May (Katherine Open Travel Day)
• 12th June (Entry Level Tournament)

Saturday Public Holidays (7 Week Program):

• 25th April (Anzac Day)
• 2nd May (May Day)
• 6th June (Kings Bday)

Please note, if you book for Monday, Friday or Saturday, your program fees will be adjusted to reflect lessons missed due to the Public Holiday & Entry Level Tournament. Altered prices are listed below.

30min Hotshots:

• 7 week program = $98.00
• 8 week program = $112.00

60min Hotshots & Performance:

• 7 week program = $126.00
• 8 week pogram = $144.00

90min Performance:

• 7 week program = $175.00

After your trial session, to be part of our coaching programs you will need to become a member. Membership costs $10 per participant, it lasts the calendar year and this covers your insurance when you step out on court. Membership fees will be added to your term invoice once created. Term invoices are normally created & sent out by week 4 of the school term.

Friday Junior Matchplay:

Junior Matchplay is now included at no extra fee if you sign up for a Junior Coaching Program. In the past we have charged $10 per visit to attend this program. Junior Matchplay is suitable for the following classes,

• Short Court Performance
• Orange Court Hotshots
• Orange Performance Squad
• Green Court Hotshots
• Green Performance Squad
• Social Teens
• Yellow Performance Squad

To book into our Hotshots program I will need the following details,

• Child's first and last name
• Guardians name and best mobile emergency contact
• Which day/time suits best

If you book a free trial session between Monday the 13th of April - Saturday the 2nd of May and you enrol for the remainder of the term, your fees will be the price of a sports voucher ! That is a savings of up to $80.00 (based on a 1hr session)!
