Wes was inducted into the TCA Hall of Fame at the 2022 TCA awards and was elected as the TCA President in 2022,  having previously served a period of 12 years as a Board Member. Wes is the Director of Futures Tennis which has been in operation for over 40 years and has won numerous Victorian and Australian awards - including the 2016 Newcombe Medal for most outstanding club/centre for East Malvern Tennis Club. Wes continues to play tennis competitively and has coached top 200 WTA players through to Hot Shots Red ball. He loves coaching all levels of players and has an undisputed passion for the sport of tennis.

Shane Scrutton  -  VIC

Shane is the club coach at Eaglemont Tennis Club and has been the Head Coach at Yarra Tennis Coaching since 2002, winning the TCA Club Coach Award in 2015 and the Tennis Victoria Club Coaching - Excellence Award in 2012. Shane has many years experience as a player, coach and tennis parent, and has a focus on the board of providing value to the TCA membership, developing positive relationships with clubs and committees, and expanding the role of club coaches. Shane also represented Australia in the ITF World Masters teams event in 2019 in Miami, where Australia finished 5th.

Lisa Hartnett  -  VIC

Lisa comes from a long line of family tennis players. Her mother, Deidre Catt, played for Great Britain and reached a top 12 world ranking and both her father and uncle played internationally. As a junior, Lisa was a regular in the Victorian state teams and represented Australia. Lisa entered the US College System and qualified for the NCAA Division 1 Championships. During her years on the professional circuit she competed at the Australian Open and played club tennis in Switzerland and Germany. Lisa is a Club Professional Coach and has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science. She has managed several Victorian teams, has coached tennis in the US and in Europe and has run the Pro Tennis Academy at Mitcham and Donvale Tennis Club for over 25 years. Lisa runs the TCA membership area and is particularly interested in the promotion of female coaches to the coaching profession and mentoring of younger coaches.

Tim Connelly  -  VIC

Tim was president of the TCA from 2020-2022. Tim was voted in unanimously as the TCA’s new President, succeeding Julie Fidler who stepped down from the role after many years of dedicated service to the TCA. Tim’s company Complete Tennis manages the Hume Tennis Centre which won the Newcombe Medal for the Melbourne Open Wheelchair tournament in 2017, and is one of the largest tennis facilities in Victoria. He has also won the Newcombe Medal for Coaching Excellence. Tim committed to leading the TCA through an exceptionally challenging time for all Victorian coaches and promoting the philosophy of ‘coaches promoting coaches’.

Helen is a Club Professional Coach and founder of Helen Magill's Tennis based in Parkes in Central West NSW with a current staff of 14, Helen has a reputation in the industry for operational excellence, innovative thinking, working with the highest level of integrity and a deep and passionate commitment to all stakeholders in the Sport. Winner of Coach Excellence awards at the Tennis Australia Newcombe Medal in 2012 and 2016 and Most Outstanding School in 2014. With more than 45years in the sport, Helen has developed a broad knowledge of Tennis with her credentials including Club President, Tournament Director, Tournament Official, Tennis Australia Coach Developer and Course Facilitator, Tennis Australia Female Coach Mentor, Tennis NSW SHEroes Ambassador, TennisNSW Central West Regional Committee, TennisNSW Regional Squad Coach, Regional media liaison and former TennisNSW Board Director.
