Kids Hot Shots Coaching and Match Play
Hot Shots is a Tennis Australia national program, endorsed by the ITF and is world leading both in its philosophy and delivery.
BTFA coaches are all qualified to deliver Hot Shots under the TA coach development program.
Hot Shots uses a stage system based on age and developmental readiness, starting from Blue Stage (3 years old) all the way to Green Stage )12+ years old.)
Hot Shots uses modified balls, courts and equipment through the different stages, allowing kids to explore tennis and play tennis without having to technically and tactically adapt to a larger court, higher net, faster and bouncier ball or heavy equipment. This allows coaches to bed in good technique from a very young age and to explore the tactical fundamentals, crucial to playing the sport.
