LTC Terms and Conditions
All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions as follows:
Risk warning: You acknowledge that by using the tennis courts and playing tennis you will be exposed to certain risks, including the risk of physical injury. You agree that the use of the tennis courts is entirely at your own risk. You have read and understood this risk warning and voluntarily accept and assume the inherent risks in use of the tennis courts and playing tennis.
Cleanliness and club rules
• No eating on the Courts, and please use bins provided (all off Court) for the disposal of rubbish.
• Please leave the Courts and Clubhouse areas clean and tidy for the next players to use and enjoy.
• Laurieton Tennis Club is strictly a non-smoking facility.
• Pets, skateboards, bikes, scooters are not permitted on the courts or clubhouse area.
• Pets are permitted on the grassy area outside of the courts only and must be on a leash and they must be securely tethered whilst unattended.
• Coaching (except for approved nominated coach) or the collection of monies through use of the courts is not permitted. Membership or court hiring rights will be terminated immediately if in breach.
Surveillance
The Laurieton Tennis Club reserves the right to use electronic surveillance equipment to monitor and protect our club, members and guests. These would monitor gate entry points, tennis courts, clubhouse and the pergola.
Respecting our neighbours
There are residential dwellings nearby. We respect the amenity of our nearby residents and we ask the same of our players. Any inappropriate behaviour reported to Laurieton Tennis Club will lead to forfeiture of the use of the Court(s) and possible membership cancellation.
Coaching
Coaching at the Courts is provided solely by Evoke Tennis(Quinn Sylow). Quinn is a level 3 coach and you can contact Quinn on 0481 369 250.
Members
• Memberships entitlements are not transferable.
• Members hiring the courts are required to be present and must be playing.
• The penalty for a member found guilty of transferring his or her membership entitlements to another person will result in an expulsion from the club.
Suspended Members
• A member, whilst under suspension, shall have no entitlement to use any facilities at the Club or to enter the Club’s premises.
• A member, whilst under suspension, shall not be on the Club’s premises as a guest of another member.
Expelled Members
A person who has been expelled as a member of the Club shall not be on the Club’s premises as a guest of any member.
Supervision
Children under the age of 16 must always be supervised by an adult at all times.
Payment
• All bookings are to be paid online.
• Credit card payments are processed by global payments company Stripe. Laurieton Tennis Club does not access or store your credit card details. All information on the Stripe platform is encrypted. Your use of the Stripe platform is subject to the Stripe terms and conditions of use and its privacy policy.
• If you wish to extend your booking, please do so online. Additional time after your booking is not free and must be paid for.
Cancellations and refunds
• You will receive an automatic refund if you cancel your booking in the online booking system at least one hour before your start time. Please give as much notice as possible so another player is able to book that time.
• You will not receive a refund if you cancel within one hour of your start time or if you do not turn up for your booking.
Inclement weather
• Our courts are synthetic grass, so light rain does not usually affect play.
Note that refunds will not include the transaction fee we are charged by the online payment platform.
