Hadfield Tennis Club Membership

As a member of the Hadfield Tennis Club, you will have access to the following membership perks:

• Off-peak court hire at no charge (conditions apply / subject to availability)
• Reduced rate court hire with lighting ($15.00 per hour)
• Access to club-organised events (which sometimes incur a small extra fee) including but not limited to:
  • Organised Social Tennis Nights
  • Sunday Social – Sunday mornings between 8:30am and 12:00pm
  • Tuesday Social - Tuesday night between 7:00pm and 9:00pm
  • Singles and Doubles Club Championships
  • Bowls Night / Trivia Night / Golf Day and other events
  • Annual Christmas Party

There's also the opportunity to trial for and play in a competition tennis team if you're interested (additional charges apply per season). If you're interested in taking part, please email hadfieldtennisclub@gmail.com and someone will respond to you as soon as possible. The following competitions are currently on offer:

• NSNTA – Northern Suburbs Night Tennis – We have teams in Ladies (Tuesday nights), Mixed (Wednesday nights) and Mens (Thursday nights) competitions.
• NSTA – Northern Suburbs Tennis – Played on Saturday afternoons.
• NSJTA – Northern Suburbs Junior Tennis – Played on Saturday mornings. 
• NSLTA – Northern Suburbs Ladies Tennis – Played mid-week.
• Victorian Pennant Tennis

As with every club where people gather, there are some rules that we request are adhered to by all members to ensure the safety and security of both yourself and other members, as well as to ensure fairness for all participants:

Playing with guests

Guests are welcome to come to the club's organised events but will be subject to non-member pricing.

Booking Courts

The following applies to booking courts at HTC:

- Court hire is open for members and public access however we do not want members to take advantage of the court hire system.
- If a court is booked by a member and non-members are playing, they will need to be listed on the booking and a non-member fee paid for each player.
- Members cannot make a booking for two separate courts at the same time.
- The member who makes the booking must be present at the time of booking (except for family memberships). A booking cannot be made on behalf of another player.
- Bookings may only be made by those over the age of 16, and any children under this age must be accompanied by a guardian.
- During off-peak seasons, up to two booking sessions (2 hours per session) per member is allowed per day.
- In peak seasons depending on demand, HTC reserves the right to reduce this to only one booking session, to ensure there is sufficient court availability for all members.
