At our tennis academy, we are dedicated to fostering a love for the sport and enhancing skills for players of all ages and abilities. We offer a comprehensive range of programs designed to cater to everyone from beginners to advanced tournament players.

Our Hot Shots Group Lessons welcome children from as young as 4 years old, utilizing Red, Orange, Green, and Yellow balls to ensure age-appropriate skill development. For more advanced players, we provide Squad Lessons aimed at those preparing for competition, emphasising strategic play and technique refinement.

We also offer tailored Private Lessons, allowing individuals to focus on specific skills and receive personalised instruction that accelerates their development. During school holidays, our Tennis Clinics offer an exciting opportunity for children to engage in the sport, develop skills, and make new friends in a fun, structured environment.

For our adult players, we host Group Lessons and Cardio Tennis sessions, promoting fitness while honing tennis skills in a social atmosphere. Furthermore, we organise competitions to encourage healthy competition and challenge players to push their limits.

We are proud to introduce Head Coach Jaime McDonagh, an esteemed figure in the tennis community. Hailing from Forster, Jaime has been passionately involved in the sport since the age of 10. His journey into coaching began at 17, and he has dedicated over 32 years to developing players of all ages and abilities. Since establishing his successful coaching business in 1996, Jaime has played an instrumental role in nurturing talent within the sport.

As a Tennis Australia Club Professional Coach with a Graduate Certificate in Applied Science Sports Coaching (UQ) Jaime brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. His extensive involvement in the North East Tennis tournament scene, including a five-year tenure on the committee, reflects his commitment to promoting tennis in the community.

As a devoted father of two, Jaime understands the importance of keeping young athletes engaged and fostering a love for the game. His coaching philosophy emphasizes enjoyment and enthusiasm, ensuring players not only develop their skills but also cherish their time on the court.

Jaime’s coaching accolades are impressive, including guiding Australian ranked players, National winners, and NSW Country Champions. He also boasts experience with ITF Juniors, Division 1 American Collegiate players, and an Australian Open Junior Doubles winner. With his passion for sports and dedication to excellence, Jaime McDonagh is a valuable asset to our tennis program.
