Donvale Tennis Club
Donvale Tennis Club was established in 1965 by a group of local residents in response to strong community need for tennis facilities. Today it remains a strong and vibrant part of the Doncaster district. The Club is located within the Donvale Recreation Reserve off Mitcham Road, Donvale. With 10 courts in total , 8 of which have lighting allowing play at night, Donvale Tennis Club offers great access to courts for members and their guests. Being a club member means you are part of our community, and is a great way of meeting new people and enjoying social events.
The club has numerous competition options for both juniors and seniors along with fantastic coaching offered by Mark Harnett’s pro Tennis Academy.
Donvale Tennis Club prides itself on promoting a friendly, healthy and social environment where individuals and families can enjoy the game of tennis. Donvale Tennis Club is a Child Safe Organisation and is guided by Tennis Australia’s Safeguarding children policies.

Our club is located within Donvale Recreation Reserve, 36-82 Mitcham Road, Donvale VIC 3111. We have 10 courts (4 en tout cas, 2 polyclay & 4 synthetic classic clay), 8 of which have lights.

Court bookings for members and non-memebers can be made via our website.
Court Hire Fees-
Visitors: $15 per hour off peak, $25 per hour peak (only synthetic clay courts)
Members: Free off peak, $10 per hour peak ($7 per hour for additional guests)
Social tennis is a great opportunity to make use of the club’s facilities, socialise with other members and guests, and to practise your skills in a friendly non-competition environment.
Donvale offers a range of weekend competition on both Saturday and Sunday.
Our Club is affiliated with Blackburn & District Night Tennis Association, which provides competition at night on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Donvale enter teams into Midweek Ladies Competitions on both Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Metro Masters Competitions include Thursday afternoon competition for 50+ years and Saturday Veterans Pennant for 35+ years.
Donvale Tennis Club enter teams into the Tennis Victoria Pennant Competition.
Our junior teams are entered into the Eastern Region Tennis Association Junior Competition held on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
