Club Championships
The club championships held on 22nd March were a great success, with 26 players taking part in the competition and about 30 people staying for lunch afterwards.
Congratulations to our Club Championship Winners!
- Women's Singles Champion: Sophie Hynes (Runner up: Ros Roberts)
- Men's Singles Champion: Simon Peck (Runner up: Ben Sims)
- Mixed Doubles Champions: Suzie and Michael Stagg (Runners up: Gary Thomas and Tom Gillett)
Special thanks to Gabe for organising the event, and to Gary for organising the food, as well as all those members who brought a plate of food/sweets along, and to our volunteers for ensuring the courts were ready for play!
About Us
Daylesford Lawn Tennis Club is in a picturesque setting and is one of the few grass court facilities in Victoria that's still in operation.
- Weekly tennis programs to suit all age groups and playing abilities, including social and competitive.
- Junior tennis programs for 5 to 18 year olds, including our Hot Shots program.
- Coaching is available for those that would like more formal training.
- The club is run by Volunteers and we're always on the lookout for people to assist in areas such as: Lawn Maintenance, Weekly Tennis Programs, Committee Members, Sponsorship. Please Contact Us if you'd like to get involved.
How to play on our courts
- Join the club as our courts are free to use for members!
- Book a court to ensure the court is available when you need it.
- Visitors to Daylesford are also welcome to play. They can book a court in advance, or pay on the day by scanning the QR codes displayed on the court entry gates.
