Hot Shots

ANZ Hot Shots

Our club is proud to offer ANZ Hot Shots for beginners aged 4-10 years old. This program focuses on developing tennis skills and technique through fun and interactive sessions, including games and skill sets using modified equipment and balls. It is a great program for developing hand-ball-eye co-ordination and helps build confidence. The program is offered as coaching on weekdays and as Match Play on Saturday mornings. The Saturday program is a six week competition with children having one doubles and one singles match each week. It runs from 11am on a Saturday morning and the program fee includes a medal and certificate at the end of the program. A free Hot Shots t-shirt can be ordered for your child. Please contact club coach Leigh Holland for further information.

This is a wonderful opportunity for juniors to develop their game and team skills. For further information regarding Junior competition please contact Leigh Holland at 0439 616 748. All players must be financial members of the club to participate in junior competition. The club has a grading committee which ensures a fair and unbiased process is followed.

Child Safety Standards:

The Victorian Government has introduced new legislation to ensure organizations that deal with children have adequate and consistent measures in place to prevent and respond to allegations of child abuse. The law applies to sporting clubs such as Chelsea Heights Tennis Club (CHTC). CHTC together with Tennis Victoria, have the commitment, and obligation by law, to provide a safe environment for children. All our committee, coaches and volunteers must have a current Working with Children Check, with all records kept in the Club files for future government inspections. Respectful behavior is expected from staff, volunteers, parents as well as the participating children towards one another. We ask that if you notice any form of child abuse at CHTC, please send us an email and one of our Child Safe Officers will contact you promptly. Email to: contact@chelseaheightstennis.com.au
