Open Day

Respect other players

We’re a family-friendly, inclusive club. Please treat others with respect—no aggressive swearing, racquet throwing, or rude behaviour. Good sportsmanship is expected at all times.

Appreciate our facilities

We're lucky to enjoy great courts in a stunning location. Please leave them as you found them:

- Take your rubbish (and your dog’s) with you

- Avoid damaging courts or clubrooms

- Only wear non-marking tennis shoes on hard courts

Pay for what you use

Members enjoy free court access, but friends and family must still pay the guest fee. For the sustainability of the club, all members must pay the significantly discounted rate for guests. The fee is 1/3rd of a non-member so it is still a great deal for your hitting partners.

Our club comes first

Social and competition play take priority over casual bookings at certain times. We encourage you to come down and support our players or watch your little Rogers and Serenas on the court.

Leave the coaching to our coaches

We’re proud to have former world-class player Dianne Balestrat as our Head Coach. Parents—your support is welcome, but please avoid stepping into the role of coach. Let your kids enjoy themselves; that’s how they learn best.

Keep yourself and your property safe

Participation in club activities is at your own risk. Please report any injuries, hazards, or incidents to the Committee. The Club is not responsible for lost or stolen property.

Child safety comes first

We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people. All staff, coaches, and volunteers must have a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and follow Victoria’s Child Safe Standards. Report any concerns to the Committee immediately.

Refund Policy

Carrum Beach Tennis Club does not generally offer refunds on membership fees, coaching programs, or event registrations. Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the Committee.

If you act up, we will act

Breaches of these terms may lead to suspension or cancellation of your membership. Serious incidents may result in immediate action without prior warning.
