I have been playing tennis most of my life and had the pleasure of being a coach for the past 9 years around my studies. One of the things I love about coaching is the relationships that you get to develop and watching the students you work with develop as people and tennis players. It's something you don't get from many other jobs.

In my own tennis I've been a state league player for the past 5/6 years and played many local and national tournaments. My proudest achievements have been playing in two state league finals and achieving a ranking of 138 in Australia.

Jono Duffy

Junior Assistant Coach

Hi my name is Jono Duffy, I am 17, and currently coach for Anything Tennis. I have coached the Wednesday club coaching sessions with Chris for a couple years now, which has been such a great experience. I have also coached several holiday clinics interacting and working with many different age brackets, building my knowledge and understanding, of how to coach different levels. I am currently enrolled at Marryatville High School in the Specialist Tennis Program, playing drive tennis. I am also playing Junior State League and Division 1 Mens for Trinity. Playing juniors and seniors tests different areas of your game making you better, as men and teenagers most of the time have completely different game styles, due to muscle, age or fitness. My all time sporting hero is Rodger Federer because of his phenomenal talent and success, but most importantly how he turned his mental game around, from someone who lost the plot to someone who never cracked an emotion, defining that positive changes can always be made.
