Check In CBR QR Code

Mandatory use of the Check In CBR App at WCTC from 6 March 2021

From Saturday 6 March 2021, the ACT Government COVID restrictions require all restricted business activities to use the Check In CBR app.

The Weston Creek Tennis Club, as a sporting activity, is a restricted business as defined in the ACT Government’s public health direction. We had previously registered with the Check In CBR app and you will see signage with the QR code at various location in the Club.

The information collected when using the app will go directly to ACT Health for contact tracing, if required. It is stored by ACT Health for 28 days and then deleted. It does not go to the Weston Creek Tennis Club. The privacy policy relating to the app is available on the ACT Health website and also available within the app’s menu.

It is mandatory for persons aged 16 years or over to check in. A failure to comply with the check in requirement could result in a fine of $1,000 for the individual player and/or $5000 for the Club.

Coaches, Captains and Social Tennis Coordinators in charge of sessions are asked to use best endeavours to require players to check in. For those who are playing at the Club as a guest, casual player or member of the general publish, we ask that you use the Check In CBR app to check in. Anyone declining to check in will not be allowed to enter the Club’s facilities.
