Project #2 started back in 2021/22 now proudly displaying WTC premiership plaques & photos, club awards and memorabilia.

Thank you to Ben Venning for organising the new trophy cabinet and to Nat Salter of Salter Quality Kitchens who was able to create an exact copy which sits neatly alongside the Waikerie Netball Clubs trophy cabinet in the clubrooms.

Well done and Thank you to past tennis presidents and committees who had kept all premiership plaques safe in a box in the shed which made life a lot easier when researching and looking for the premiership photos to add to the cabinet.

While searching for premiership photos I stumbled across this page from the Adelaide Chronicle in 1949 which includes a photo from the Waikerie Tennis club aswell as other Waikerie sporting and community groups.

Hopefully this Summer and years to come we can add some more premiership plaques and memorabilia to the cabinet!
