What an incredible experience!

Last week WTC Jnr Indy played in the 2023 Queensland Junior Teams Carnival held on the Gold Coast as an u12 Team member in the SA Regional Team.

Some 368 players in 61 teams (including 1 from Japan) in 4 age groups competed in this event in its 35th year across 7 venues.

The Queensland Junior Teams Carnival is the perfect balance between Teams and individual competition. Ties consist of singles, doubles and mixed doubles with all team members participating in an an equal number of matches through out the week.

It was a big week of tennis!! Traveling and staying with SA team where Indy learnt a lot about the game of tennis, her strengths and weaknesses and herself! She showed great sportsmanship and resilience, made some great friends and was lucky enough to play alongside and against some incredible junior tennis players. Indy finished the week on a high winning her last singles game and the u12 SA regional team (which also included Riverland Jnrs-Cooper and Seb) finished the week in 7th position out of 16 teams.
