Riverland Junior tennis was well represented with 11 players from across the Riverland including x7 WTC Juniors over the past 2 days.

Congratulations to the Riverland u14 Girls Indy & Sarah (Waikerie), Elysia (Berri) and Madi (Cobby) who took out the carnival with a dominant display of tennis dropping just 4 of 36 sets.

Congratulations to WTC Jnr Angelos who played in a u16 team from Waikerie, Melrose, Port Pirie &

Milaton and came runner up by just a few games .

Well done to the u12 Riverland boys including WTC Jnrs Nick, Tas & Archie & Ashton & Judson (Loxton) who came 3rd and played some great tennis and showed great tennis improvement and knowledge of the game.

Well done to WTC Jnr Hugh who played in a u10 mixed Hills team and started his singles as the 4th member and finished the 2 days as their #1!

2 great days of tennis in warm conditions saw these juniors tested physically and mentally all while showing great team work, sportsmanship, making new friends and learning lots about themselves and their tennis.

Thanks to Tennis SA for running a great event, the Kensington Lawn Tennis Club & East Torrens Kensington Gardens Tennis Club for hosting this event for country players and to the parents for their support.
