A big five days of tennis, teamwork, and memories that will last a lifetime saw WTC Junior Indy participate in the annual QLD Junior Teams Carnival in Brisbane, bringing together 12 regions with some 400+ junior tennis players from across Australia and as far as South Korea!

This years event saw the introduction of a teams-only format, tiered divisions, added on-court coaching, together with a Tennis Celebration/festival morning at Golf Central.

Across the 5 days Indy played 16 matches of tennis, winning 5 of her 6 singles (2sets per match) and 6 of her 11 doubles (female and mixed) against and with some impressive opponents and team mates all while gaining valuable experience and match play including one day in extreme qld conditions. The 14/u SA team went close to many of the teams who finished higher on the ladder and ended the carnival on a high winning their final game and 2nd of the carnival.

Well done Indy and thanks must go to Tennis SA for giving our regional players such a great opportunity as well as coaches John, Shane and Sam.
