Club Information
Viewbank Tennis Club History
For over 50 years, Viewbank Tennis Club has played a vital role in the local community. Our commitment to inclusivity ensures that we welcome members of all abilities, genders, ages, and backgrounds.
We proudly offer eight courts, comprising two en-tout-cas and six synthetic clay courts. Courts 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 feature synthetic clay, with Court 3 now upgraded with LED lighting. We are actively seeking funding to upgrade all court lighting to LED, reducing our environmental impact by using more energy-efficient solutions. Stay tuned for updates on our LED Light Project.
Our clubhouse includes bathrooms, kitchen facilities, a first aid kit, and an automated defibrillator, alongside a BBQ area with a pavilion shelter. We take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. The clubhouse and grounds are regularly cleaned, and we provide hand sanitiser for the convenience of members, guests, and community visitors.
Parking is available at both entry gates (top and bottom), though only the top gate is currently in use. With excellent facilities, high-quality courts, and a strong community, we provide a fun and safe environment for players to enjoy tennis with family and friends, whether socially or competitively.
Our club follows the regulations set by the Victorian State Government, Tennis Victoria, and Banyule City Council.
