Viewbank Tennis Club History

We have played an active role in the local Community for over 50 years.  We are an  all inclusive Club and welcome Members to our Club of all abilities, genders, ages and backgrounds.

We particpate in various external Competitions for Men, Women, Mixed and Juniors. Please see our competition page for more information.

Viewbank Tennis Club has 8 courts comprising of 2 en-tout-cas and 6 synthetic clay courts. Courts 3 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are synthetic clay. Court 3 has new LED lights and we are currently working on funding to upgrade all other court lighting to LED, to help do our part in the community when it comes to minimising the environnmental impact or using less energy efficient lights. Watch this space for more updates and news about our LED Light project.

Our clubhouse has bathrooms, kitchen facilities, first aid kit and a automatic defibrillator and there is a BBQ area with a pavilion shelter.  We pride ourselves in having a clean, safe and welcoming clubhouse and facility, to help make your visit to our club a good experience.  We reguarly clean our clubhouse and grounds, in line wiht the current COVID safe requirements and provide hand sanistiser for the use of members, guests and community visitors.

We have parking available leading into both entry gates (top and bottom) of the tennis courts (note: currently only top gate is in use). With our quality facilities, courts and people, it allows us to provide a fun and safe environment to enjoy playing tennis with their family and friends both in the social or competition scene!
