NB Members’ forum Cancelled this year

We had ‘saved the date’ for a members’ forum next Sunday - like we had last year.  We have decided not to proceed.  It is a big call on people’s time and one that worked well last year when we had a new President\ committee installed and looking to confirm future directions.  This year appears a more ‘nuts and bolts’ affair where we will be basically building on last year’s work.  If you do have anything you would like Committee to consider in 2023 do drop an email to paulgerardsmyth@gmaiil.com.

Club House Painting Completed!

Back from my holiday to find the Club House painting completed.  Has had positive acclaim from members and visitors.  Thanks especially to Vlad Hardi for managing the jobp and, of course, the donors whose gifts really got the project up and running.

At last, the Draw Net

Older members will know that for some years we have been looking at installing a Draw Net between the VP courts and the adjacent Kew TC court because of the problem with balls coming across courts during coaching sessions.  The two committee have now agreed to proceed.  Will take a  while to install and need two new poles next to the fences with a line between them.  The net will be light weight, easy to pull and secure and will be drawn only during the coaching sessions.
