TOOLONDO broke through for a drought-breaking victory to claim the South Arapiles Tennis Association title for the first time in 50 years on Saturday.

After the side won 10 of their 12 encounters during the 15 round season, the side beat Telangatuk nine sets to three in the grand final.

The side had topped the table ahead of Telangatuk, Pigeon Ponds, Vasey and Douglas for most of the season and were favourites heading into the grand final.

The side did not disappoint once it got there.

Damien Holmes, Micheal Dyer, Todd Wilson, Susan McKenry, Chrissie Holmes, Kylie Penny, Troy Oakley, Claire Wilson, Danielle Oakley and Brent Penny delivered win.
